On April 26, the People’s Committee of Huong An Ward hosted a program titled “Huong An Rural Market” in 2026 under the theme “Mi xu mi som” (First sale of the day). The activity was held to promote local agricultural products, enhance the development of rural tourism, and spread traditional cultural values in the new development era.

The Co Tu people in hamlet 5, Nam Dong commune (merged from Huong Xuan, Thuong Nhat and Huong Son communes) still call Village Elder Tran Dinh Lua (72 years old) the “living treasure” of their village. Le Ngoc Thuy, a math teacher at Huong Vinh High School, braved danger to save 3 people swept away by floodwaters. These people were capsized in a boat incident that also drowned a mother and child. The incident took place on the morning of November 15 at the area of Hau Dam – Canal, Huong Vinh ward, Hue city

Due Son, also known as Mount Le, Mount Re or Mount Ke, has a slightly pointed shape and beautiful form. The Eastern side of the mountain rests on Ta Trach Lake. The mountain is like a guardian god, standing at the upstream source of the Huong River, protecting the land where the Temple of Literature and the Temple of Martial Arts Saint are located.

Along with Bach Ho Bridge, which is a railroad bridge, and Thao Long Bridge, with the architectural structure of a bridge at the top and a dam below to prevent salinity at the bottom, there is a total of seven bridges over the Huong River, namely Truong Tien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Tuan Bridge, and Dinh Market Bridge.
