Born in 2003, H’La Vi Bkrông, an Ede student from Dak Lak Province, is in the final stage of her studies in English Language at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. Choosing Hue as the place to pursue her education, La Vi brought with her not only academic aspirations but also a love of music that had been nurtured since childhood.

Premiering in August 2025 and surpassing 700 billion VND in box office revenue, the film “Red Rain” (“Mua Do”) created an unprecedented box office phenomenon for a Vietnamese political and historical film. What few people know is that the person behind the film's music, touching the hearts of millions of viewers, is musician Cao Dinh Thang - a young man born and raised in Hue.

No one has captured the Vietnamese sense of living away from one’s homeland better than poet Nguyen Khoa Diem when he wrote: “They carry the names of their communes and villages on every migration journey.” In the highland city on the Lang Biang Plateau, this sentiment holds true as well. “Nghien cuu Hue” (“Researching Hue”) is a series of books about Hue, born out of researchers’ deep affection for Hue culture. The series is considered the continuity of the B.A.V.H. (Bulletin des Amis du Vieux Hué) by the Association of Friends of Ancient Hue.

From areca sheaths once regarded as agricultural waste, Truong Van Toi (born 2000, Hue City) has built a model to produce bowls and plates from areca sheaths, aiming to reduce plastic waste, create livelihoods for local people, and open up an environmentally friendly consumption pathway.

Amid the rhythm of life in Hue, Ca Dao Dance Troupe stands as one of the few collectives that have steadfastly pursued a professional path in dance, contributing to the enrichment of Hue Imperial Citadel’s contemporary artistic life. Leading the Ca Dao Dance Troupe for over 11 years is Ms. Dang Nu Hoang Quyen (born in 1980), a choreographer who also serves as a lecturer in the Faculty of Political Theory at the University of Sciences, Hue University.
