After more than half a century with only foundations and traces remaining, the Thoai Thanh Temple area within the Emperor Gia Long Mausoleum relic complex now has the chance to be reconstructed.

On July 13th and 14th, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with Hong Lien Foundation, Inc., organized a community outreach program providing free dental examinations, consultations, and treatment, along with charitable donations, for residents in the mountainous district of A Luoi. The initiative aims to improve oral health while promoting compassion and supporting social welfare.

On the afternoon of June 24, the City People's Committee held its regular June meeting and a session to review the city's socio-economic performance during the first 6 months of 2026. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Party Central Committee Member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of June 21st, Hue City Women's Union coordinated with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation (Germany) to organize a training program on applying policy dialogue skills in practice for women's union officials and members.

In the process of constructing a digital government, a digital economy, and a digital society, Hue City has gradually established a synchronized and modern digital infrastructure foundation. Nevertheless, realizing the goal of becoming a fully digital city requires not only strong commitment from local authorities but also the active participation of technology enterprises in infrastructure investment, solution deployment, and the sharing of hands-on experience.

More than just a series of promotional activities showcasing one of the world’s most beautiful bays, the program “Lang Co – World Beautiful Bay 2026” reflects the local community’s aspiration to build a green, civilized, and environmentally friendly tourism destination, with local communities and indigenous values serving as the foundation for sustainable development.

On May 6, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held a meeting and working session with the Hearts for Hue Foundation (H4HF) and a delegation of students from the National University of Singapore. ​

On the morning of April 25th, at Dang Van Ngu Secondary School, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in coordination with the People’s Committee of An Cuu Ward, held a ceremony to inaugurate two “friendly libraries” and hand over bookcases to local schools.

On the morning of April 24th, the city’s Women’s Union, in coordination with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany), organized a workshop titled “Integrating Gender Equality into Commune Level Socio-Economic Development Planning”.

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.
