The People's Committee of Hoa Chau Ward has officially issued a plan for the organization of Hoa Chau City Trail 2026. This will be the first event of its kind in Hue, combining road running and trail running (City Trail), with the longest distance extending up to 42 kilometers.

On the afternoon of June 13, the Hue City People’s Committee Office announced that, as part of an official visit to Hungary, a delegation from Hue City led by Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, carried out a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary and met with the Vietnamese community and overseas Vietnamese businesses to promote cooperation, attract investment, and expand foreign relations. ​

The visit and working trip of the delegation from Nara Prefecture, Japan, to Hue is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation, further strengthening the friendship between the two localities as well as between Vietnam and Japan.

As part of the Hue Festival Trade Fair 2026, the Business Matching Program between Hue City and other provinces and cities officially took place on the morning of June 13 at Hue City Cultural and Sports Square (No. 1 Ha Huy Tap St.).

Hue City is entering a new stage of development with the goal of becoming a major regional hub for science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Central Vietnam. To realize this strategy, intellectuals, scientists, experts, and traditional local knowledge are regarded as a key force contributing to Hue’s sustainable growth.

On the morning of June 13, the swimming tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Game 2026 officially opened at the swimming pool of Hue City Sport Center (No. 2 Le Quy Don St., Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the evening of June 12, the Hue Festival Trade Fair 2026 officially opened at Hue City Culture and Sports Square.

As part of an official visit to the Republic of Austria, on June 10 and 11, a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan, held a series of meetings with the Government of Lower Austria, the City of Krems, IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Austria.

On June 11th, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a working session with a South Korean delegation. The meeting aimed to promote cooperation in transportation and urban infrastructure projects while exploring the application of the transit-oriented development (TOD) model associated with Vietnam’s North-South High-Speed Railway.

On the afternoon of June 11, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, along with representatives of local departments and agencies, had an official meeting with a delegation from Fundación Metrópoli of Spain, led by Dr. Alfonso Vegara Gomez, the organization’s Founder and President, to explore strategic orientations for urban planning and sustainable heritage urban development of Hue.

From the bus’s upper floor, tourists were easy to contemplate Hue City at night and take photos as they passed by Dong Ba Market, Phu Van Lau, Hue Railway Station, or enjoy the beauty of a poetic Hue City illuminated by the lights from Truong Tien Bridge and the lights reflecting from the Perfume River, etc.
