Alongside biology, physics is the subject that has earned Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted many medals at both the Asian and International Physics Olympiads. 2025 witnesses the comeback of physics at the international Olympiads.

After winning a Silver Medal at 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad held in Saudi Arabia, Tran Le Thien Nhan (a 12th-grade student from the Physics Class 2 for gifted students) was once again selected by the Ministry of Education and Training as a member of the national team to participate in 2025 International Physics Olympiad.

At noon on May 14, at Phu Bai International Airport, teachers and students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted welcomed Tran Le Thien Nhan and Tran Trung Hieu, two students of the school who just won medals at the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) 2025.

On May 11, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) announced that all members of Vietnamese national team participating in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) 2025, held in Saudi Arabia, won prizes.

Over the past 5 years, the spearhead education has undergone positive changes with many first prizes at the national exams for excellent students, and many subjects such as biology, informatics, and physics have made appearances at the Asian and international Olympiads. The problem posed is that there is a need for investment and joint efforts to overcome difficulties, reach high, and reach far.
