On the night of March 2, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations and the Hue City Writers’ Association hosted the Binh Ngo 2026 First Full Moon Poetry Night under the theme “Spring by the Huong River”, drawing a large number of writers, artists, and poetry lovers to attend.

On the afternoon of February 9, an art exhibition, themed “Celebrating Spring and the Zodiac of the Horse 2026”, was held at Song Huong Magazine (9 Pham Hong Thai). It was organized by Hue Fine Arts Association. This is an annual tradition having become a familiar cultural activity for Hue art community as Tet and Spring arrive.

After nearly two years of restoration and rehabilitation of the remaining structures of Emperor Tu Duc’s Mausoleum, Minh Khiem Hall (an ancient theater) – regarded as a “precious gem” of royal court performing arts – is gradually revealing its original appearance.

On the afternoon of December 30, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City organized a program to honor outstanding artists and writers, and presented awards to exceptional literary and artistic works in 2025.

On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). The event attracted the participation of many artists and students.

Dozens of paintings, considered rare treasures by generations of Hue’s renowned artists, have just been unveiled to the public. These works are now displayed at Lebadang Art Space of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts (No.15 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The 75 pieces showcased in this exhibition belong to an art collection that the Museum has patiently and devotedly gathered over many years.

During a career orientation session at Byron Nelson High School in Texas, USA, my daughter and I had the opportunity to experience an exceptionally well-organized Culinary Arts vocational training model. In the U.S. education system, students are guided toward basic career paths as soon as they enter middle school, preparing them for vocational training in high school if they choose not to pursue a university pathway.

On the morning of November 21st, at the Nguyen Dynasty’s Privy Council, or Co Mat Vien (Tam Toa), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with the University of Arts - Hue University, held the opening of a series of exhibitions and displays in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23rd).

The art works by renowned artists from Hue, part of the collection of Hue Museum of Fine Arts, have just been introduced to the public. They are captivating not only for their emotional depth, but also as a special reunion of artists and art lovers.

After four years as a referee, Ngo Viet Phu was named Chief Referee of the Vietnam Mixed Martial Arts Federation (VMMAF) in 2025, becoming the first athlete and coach from Hue to assume the position.

Taking place from August 16 to 24 at 15 Le Loi, Hue City, the 28th Northern Central region fine arts exhibition organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in collaboration with the Union of Arts and Culture Associations of Thua Thien Hue is a great and meaningful activity of regional fine arts.

Opened to the public in April of last year, the Cecile Le Pham Museum of Fine Arts is one of the private collections with a large number of artifacts, rich in materials, diverse in forms, and originating from all around the world.

With the theme "Inspiration about the heritage of Hue royal performance", this composition camp focuses on creativity to honor the beauty of intangible heritage, such as Nha Nhac(Vietnamese Court Music), Royal Dance, Royal Tuong, and Hue Singing.
