According to the Department of Tourism, in the first 3 months of 2023 (Quarter 1), the estimated number of international tourists visiting Hue is over 255 thousand, a 55-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

On the afternoon of April 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to honor "Outstanding Citizens of Thua Thien Hue Province" from 2020-2022 and reward at the state level for units and individuals with outstanding achievements in the year 2022.
