On the evening of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park, Phu Xuan District Youth Union, in collaboration with District Center for Culture, Information, and Sports, organized the 2025 cultural program “Mung Dang Quang Vinh” (In Celebration of the Glorious Party).

On the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, heritage sites in Hue opened their doors for free, welcoming thousands of visitors to experience the festive atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. On the morning of January 9, the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Chan May Port Joint Stock Company and Saigontourist Travel Services Co., Ltd held a program of welcoming the first cruise ship and tourists to Hue City by sea in 2025.

The Vietnam Buddhist Academy (VBA) in Hue began the new year 2025 with a meaningful event - Welcoming His Excellency Sandeep Arya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam for an official visit.

On the morning of January 1, Hue City Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Central Region Airport Authority at Phu Bai International Airport, Phu Bai International Airport, and the Vietnam Airlines branch in Hue, along with Pacific Airlines organized a program to welcome the first flight and visitors to Hue City in 2025. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

Amidst the vibrant and bustling atmosphere of transitioning from the old year to the new year 2025, and celebrating the historic milestone of Hue becoming a centrally-governed municipality, on the evening of December 31, the Hue Festival Organizing Committee, Hue City People's Committee, and Carlsberg Vietnam Co., Ltd. collaborated to host the Countdown - Welcoming New Year 2025 event at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Van Tien Dung streets.

On November 30, the Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Hue Railway Branch and Hong Ha International Travel Company (Lao Cai), organized a welcoming program for a group of visitors from China, arriving in Hue via a charter train on a nationwide tour.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, in August 2022, there were about 25,000 international visitorarrivals, an increase of about 30% compared to the previous month.
