That Hue University welcomes many leading professors and experts coming to its member universities to spread new pieces of knowledge is not only an opportunity for its academic staff to acquire new knowledge, but also partly affirms its prestige.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, announced on January 19th that the museum received nearly 60,000 visitors in 2023. Visitors were mainly attracted to Le Ba Dang and Diem Phung Thi art exhibitions. According to Ms. Trai, this figure represents a 40% increase compared to that of the year 2022.

In 2023, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue welcomed more than 122,000 visitors to the museum, as well as the relics under its management.

Tourism is entering the peak season for international visitors. To effectively attract visitors to Hue, the implementation of promotion and advertising work with the right focus is considered a top priority task.

On the afternoon of November 6, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Susan Burns, US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.

After more than a day of transportation, the two bears rescued in Hanoi were brought to Vietnam Bear Rescue Center II at Bach Ma National Park on the afternoon of October 3. These are also the first two bears received by this center.
