In the sacred moment of transition between the old year and the new year, the sky over Hue City lit up with fireworks to welcome the Year of the Horse 2026 amidst great joy.

Not as common as apricot blossoms or chrysanthemums, daffodils can still be found in a few homes in Hue whenever spring returns. As scheduled, on the morning of February 7, thousands of locals and visitors flocked to the communal house area of Lai An village (also known as Sinh village), Duong No Ward (Thuan Hoa District) to watch the wrestling festival. The Sinh village wrestling festival is a traditional festival with a rich martial spirit, and over 400 years old in the Ancient Capital land.

On the morning of February 3 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), Thu Le village wrestling festival, in Sia Town, Quang Dien District, jubilantly opened. This is a traditional beauty of residents in the lagoon area of Quang Dien District every time Tet (the Lunar New Year) comes and the Spring comes.

A large number of soldiers from the armed forces and young people in Hue City attended the film screenings to watch films and documentaries focused on the themes of the army and soldiers, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).
