According to an information released by the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, following a period of exterior and interior renovations to passenger carriages on Hue - Da Nang route of the “Connecting Central Heritage” train, the upgraded train will officially debut on March 26, 2026.

On November 30, the Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Hue Railway Branch and Hong Ha International Travel Company (Lao Cai), organized a welcoming program for a group of visitors from China, arriving in Hue via a charter train on a nationwide tour.

On June 18, a free reading station was launched on the train connecting heritages between Hue and Da Nang, featuring around 150 books set up by the Provincial Development Research Institute in collaboration with other units and projects.

At the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Day event held in 2024 under the theme “20 years of thrilling journey” and accompanied by the program message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” (from April 4th to 7th), the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province participated in various promotional and marketing activities.

The railway line connecting Hue to Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass spans approximately 100 kilometers and is considered one of the most beautiful railway routes in the country.
