On April 26, the People’s Committee of Huong An Ward hosted a program titled “Huong An Rural Market” in 2026 under the theme “Mi xu mi som” (First sale of the day). The activity was held to promote local agricultural products, enhance the development of rural tourism, and spread traditional cultural values in the new development era.

The exhibition is part of activities to promote the development of the Science and Technology market and to respond to the National Tourism Year 2025; the exhibition runs for two days, from September 5th to September 7th.

Alongside promotional activities in several European countries, Hue City’s tourism sector has teamed up with Da Nang to present Central Vietnam tourism in general and that of Hue in particular to the tourism markets of Malaysia and Indonesia. These are considered traditional and promising sources of tourists for Hue.

On the morning of September 4th, the Department of Tourism announced statistics on visitor arrivals to Hue in the first eight months of 2025. Notably, France topped the international tourist market to Hue with nearly 64.200 tourists during the period, accounting for 13,5% of the city’s international tourist arrivals.

The results released from the analysis help the tourism sector and the businesses working in this field develop appropriate strategies, and create tourism products and services that closely match the market demand. This is an urgent requirement if Hue tourism wants to expand its market and reach effective tourist attractions.

Golf tourism is increasingly becoming a driving force behind high-quality travel, attracting tourists who are willing to spend, including those from international markets. Hue has shown interest in developing this form of tourism, yet much work remains to be done to achieve greater effectiveness.
