On the morning of June 26, the Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietnam National Halal Company Limited held a conference named “Introducing Halal standards – a Muslim friendly service” to create favorable conditions for the businesses in the provincial area access to the overview of Muslim tourism; Halal food; the Muslim friendly services; demands on Halal standards, and Halal certification programs.

On the evening of June 23, the Hue Lotus Festival 2023, themed "Lotus Beautifies Hue," was officially opened at Tinh Tam Lake in Hue City. The event is directed by the Provincial People's Committee and organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with LAATA Vietnam Limited Liability Company, with the participation of Hue Vietnam Organic Company Limited, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, and several other businesses from both within and outside the province.

The direct flight connecting Hue with Incheon (South Korea) will take off on July 31. Hue's tourism sector and many travel businesses are pooling efforts to seek opportunities to develop tourism and open the market for Korean tourists in particular and international tourists in general.

During a recent tourism survey in Malaysia, Hue tourism businesses chose to wear the traditional Ao Dai when working with partners.

On February 25, Mrs. Tran Duc Minh, Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Association said that the Young Entrepreneurs Association would coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, and the Department of Tourism to carry out the program of sharing and connecting businesses with Vietnamese TikTok Creators who are in love with Hue specialties.

On the morning of December 14, in Hue city, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Agency organized a seminar and updated Malaysian tourism products to businesses and tourism partners in Thua Thien Hue.

Through the seminar, the program offered a support package integrating many cutting-edge solutions, making the process of business management and operation of tourism enterprises simple and fast.

As a part of the Hue Tourism Forum 2022, on November 11, nearly 50 tourism businesses and experts in and out of the province had a trip to discover and experience high-class and famous healthcare tourism services in the land of the Ancient Capital.

The Department of Tourism just coordinated with the People's Committee of Huong Tra town to organize a survey trip for tourism products in the locality on October 6th. The delegation included local tourism businesses and tourism experts.

On July 21st, a training conference was held to foster legal knowledge on business activities in Vietnam in the field of tourism and to discuss the implementation of support policies and regulations in the tourism industry.
