To provide the activities of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 to tourists, the tourism industry of the Imperial Ancient Capital, along with other units and businesses, has developed a plan to promote and introduce the events in a focus way, reaching both domestic and international markets.

This was one of the highlights shared at a conference summarizing activities in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of Hue City Hotel Association, which took place on the late afternoon of January 10. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies of Hue City, Vietnam Tourism Association, and Hue City Tourism Association.

On the afternoon of January 3rd, the Department of Tourism held a conference to review its activities in 2024 and outline tasks for the tourism sector in 2025. Attending the event was Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

On the evening of September 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Travel Magazine and other partners, organized the “Experiencing Traditional Hue Mid-Autumn Festival”program. This event is part of a series of activities taking place in the four seasons of Hue Festival 2024, aiming at responding to the autumn festival - “Hue in Autumn” of the Hue Festival 2024.

On August 10, Hue Tourism College held the final round of the contest titled “Initiatives to reduce waste in general, and plastic waste in particular in tourism business activities”.

In an effort to stimulate tourism and create a vibrant atmosphere to attract locals and visitors to the Imperial City Night Street, the People's Committee of Hue City has directed relevant agencies to organize community cultural and artistic activities on the evenings of June 21 and 22.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, it is estimated that 101,000 tourist arrivals visited and participated in various activities during Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 in the 7 days from June 6th to June 12th.

During the three-day program celebrating the 15th anniversary of Lang Co Bay being recognized as a beautiful bay of the world (from May 10 to May 12), more than 45,000 visitors went to Lang Co to visit, play, and experience tourism and activities within the program.

On April 22nd, Thua Thien Hue History Museum announced that as part of the activities for National Tourism Year 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Dien Bien, the museum has brought the exhibition “Hue - Cultural heritage, Potential destination” to the public.

On the evening of April 19, at Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City), the Provincial Department of Tourism organized the "Hue - Welcome Summer 2024" event. This event is part of the series of activities within Hue Festival 2024, with the aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome an attractive summer tourism season, as well as creating a media effect to attract visitors to Thua Thien Hue Province.
