To the melodies blending traditional and modern tones, hundreds of models showcased ao dai collections in the ancient space of An Dinh Palace. Guests from home and abroad, along with Hue locals, were treated to an “art feast” that fused fashion, music, and heritage.

On the morning of June 6th, a signing ceremony took place between the Department of Construction of Hue City and the Public Works Bureau of Osaka City, Japan, to formalize a discussion minute on technical cooperation in the field of drainage and wastewater treatment. Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

At the specialized session on “Green and Sustainable Tourism Development” held on the morning of June 6th within the framework of the 14th East Asian Local Government and Regional Conference, Hue affirmed its pioneering position in the region regarding the development orientation of environmentally-friendly tourism that harmonizes with communities and preserves heritage.

Besides the international tourist market, the domestic tourist market is considered a solid foundation for a bright “picture” of Vietnamese tourism in general, and Hue City in particular. Capturing the trends and preferences of visitors presents an opportunity to leverage the domestic market.

The 14th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress will take place in Hue City from June 5th to 7th, 2025, with the participation of over 200 delegates from 16 international localities (across 4 countries), 10 domestic localities, 2 international organizations, various ministries, and diplomatic representative agencies.

On the afternoon of June 4, a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Hue City and Nara Prefecture (Japan) took place at the Office of City People’s Committee.

On the 10-acre field of red chiem rice (a traditional red rice grown in brackish lowlands of Hue City, sown by April and harvested by July), each planting season requires 40 to 50 hired laborers, and the harvest stretches over several days. Left untended and unfertilized, the rice grows naturally under the generous sun and rain. Some call it “heaven’s rice” — a variety grown from the grace of Tam Giang’s waters.

Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company officially handed over the first electric bus under KIM LONG brand name to DAON Mobility Co., Ltd. (South Korea) on the afternoon of June 2nd.

On June 2nd, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the 2025 Community Ao Dai Week will take place from June 6th to 15th, kicked off with a special art program titled “Hue Ao dai” at An Dinh Palace on the evening of June 6th.
