On August 20, the College of Tourism - Hue University held a 2024 Job Fair. This was the first time that the college held this activity.

Thuy Xuan hill area, Hue city is famous for ancient pagodas such as Tu Hieu, Dong Thuyen, Bao Lam, Chau Lam, Dieu Nghiem, etc. Being lost in the clouds and wind with many rows of pine trees rustling on these hillsides in the early morning or at dusk, and listening to the sound of temple bells ringing in the wind and the steady sound of wooden bell echoing from the pagodas make my heart strangely calm and peaceful.

Just about 30 kilometers away, Quang Loi Lagoon is not far from the center of Hue City. It's located in Quang Loi Commune, Quang Dien District - a low-lying area rich in cultural identity. Covering approximately 800 hectares, the lagoon is part of the Tam Giang lagoon system. Following the flow of the waters, the lives of the people here are closely tied to the water as they engage in simple and humble fishing activities.

The position, role and influence of Hue University are being affirmed day by day, granting it eligiblility to become a National University.

Thua Thien Hue, with a coastline stretching 120 km, is vulnerable to typhoons and storm surges from the East Sea. Throughout history, Hue has endured severe storms, floods, and droughts, which have had significant impacts on human life, architectural structures, and the natural environment.

Hue has many outstanding fields to join UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). This not only promotes local cultural identity to the world but also provides an opportunity to attract tourists and investors to Hue. However, choosing which field to highlight the uniqueness of Hue when participating in UCCN is something that needs careful consideration.

Invited to participate in the 2024 World Grand Prix Model Competition in Korea by the Korean Institute of Traditional Culture & ORIHERI, four representatives from Hue, among many from Vietnam, achieved significant awards, with Nguyen Ngoc Phon honored with the First prize.

The International Dance Festival 2024, organized by the Department of Performing Arts (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, will take place from August 17 to 22 at the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema (41A Hung Vuong Street, Hue City).

On the evening of August 11th, at 91A Truong Gia Mo Street (Hue City), the Concert 2024 program, organized by the Holy Music Center, took place.

According to experts, the number of tourists choosing golf tourism products is growing rapidly, illustrating the potential for developing this industry. Hue is making efforts to call for investment, while at the same time, deploying many solutions to attract high-end tourists of this category.
