This morning (March 15), along with voters across the country, voters in Hue headed to the polls to participate in the Election for deputies to the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam and members of the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

With systematic, coordinated, and well-organized preparations, Hue City is now ready for the election of the deputies to the 16th National Assembly and members of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. On the afternoon of March 12th, the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project in Vietnam officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with two leading tourism training institutions in central Vietnam: the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University and Hue Tourism College. Attending the signing ceremony was Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh.

On the afternoon of March 10, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with relevant departments, sectors, and units to review reports and provide feedback on night-time economic development projects in the area.
