Hue City aims to establish a smart tourism information infrastructure which is compatible with smart devices, contributing to ensuring a consistent management system and the utilization of cultural and tourism information among local organizations. This is the objective of the project to build a smart cultural and tourism Hue city, sponsored by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam).

That the preservation warehouse and the display system are all reused from the renovated old building, so it is not suitable for the museum's function, and although the equipment has been invested, it still does not meet the requirements of preserving artifacts. Those are the situation that Hue Fine Arts Museum - a public museum established nearly 5 years ago, is facing. With two Chan May and Thuan An quay areas partially invested and in operation, and Phong Dien Seaport calling for investment, the seaport system in Thua Thien Hue aims to reach out and make regional connections.

There is a need to calculate the traffic directional distribution inside the Hue Imperial City scientifically and reasonably for preservation and development. Besides, it is needed to do research into the development of a waterway tourism system inside the Imperial City to create a tourist attraction…

The 1st National Student Taekwondo Championship will be held right on Hue land, scheduled from March 24 to 28, by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. The championship especially has both movement and advanced systems. This is the first time the championship has been held on a national scale, and Hue is the first host province

Tam Giang brackish water lagoon system is the Southeast Asia's largest, located 30 km from Hue City. The lush mangrove forest not only creates conservation areas for aquatic resources, helping the Tam Giang lagoon to put on a new color, but also protects the habitat from the impact of climate change, creating more livelihoods for local people, from fishing to community tourism.

"The rain forecasting software has assisted in consulting, directing and operating reservoirs, monitoring rain and flood, and sharing information, contributing to the good implementation of natural disaster prevention and control," assessed Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh at the inauguration ceremony of the project for “Emergency Reservoir Operation and Effective Flood Management Using Water related Disaster Management Information System”, which took place on May 12.

Along with the investment in completing traffic infrastructure, lighting system and public utilities, Hue City has recently prioritized the resources to allocate investment capital to upgrade and restore communal houses, in order to contribute to the conservation and restoration of relics in the area.

Promotional videos focus on introducing Thua Thien Hue tourism with diverse perspectives, especially the massive heritage system, the destination of 5 world heritage sites, along with the images of green, peaceful destinations, festivals, and special cuisine.

Roads in Thua Thien Hue province have been expanded, connecting localities and created momentum for socio-economic development activities of the province.
