In 2023, tourism activities in the area of Hue City have recovered and shown good growth. The number of tourists visiting Hue has increased significantly, especially international tourists, leading to a substantial rise in the overall retail sales of goods and services. This contributed to Hue City achieving and surpassing all 12 economic and social targets for the year.

The Famtrip delegation from the Philippines has recently conducted a survey of tourist attractions in the provincial area. Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the evening of December 12, at the Noon Gate Square, tens of thousands of spectators had an emotional night with the "Hue by Light - The Live Show" program.

The performance lasts 50 minutes with the theme of the four seasons, the Art Nouveau movement combined with traditional Vietnamese lacquer art, minimalism with dragons and phoenixes. The show also features the movement of Art Deco along with iconic plants and trees in Vietnamese culture.

The exhibition titled “Ngoc xuat danh son” showcases a multitude of artifacts crafted from precious jade, organized by the Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelain Museum (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Hue City). It opened on the morning of November 21st, attracting a large audience of researchers, antique collectors, and the public.

Struggling to make a living, but members of the Folk Arts Club of Trung Son commune (A Luoi) still strive to practice and refine each performance before each show, with enthusiasm to contribute to preserving the soul of culture of the great jungle.
