On the afternoon of January 13, Hue City Department of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony to review its external relations work in 2025 and outline tasks for 2026.

On the morning of December 30, Hue City Department of Home Affairs reported that in 2025, wages, bonuses, and labor relations at businesses across the city remained broadly stable. Workers’ salaries and Lunar New Year bonuses continued to rise compared to the previous year, with no cases of wage arrears recorded.

The 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city, for the 2025 - 2030 term, was held on December 26. Attending the Congress were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang; along with representatives of departments, agencies, sectors, and a large number of association members.

On the afternoon of December 26th, the City People’s Committee held a conference to review the implementation of the project “Developing harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations” for the 2022 - 2025 period.

A large number of photographic and documentary materials highlighting the special relationship between President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh were exhibited and introduced to the public on the morning of December 12th at Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City (No. 7 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

In the context of the increasingly extensive development of Vietnam-Japan relations, local cooperation has become an important driving force that fosters strong and lasting ties between the two countries. From July 7 - 11, a delegation of the Department of Public Security of Hue City, led by Colonel Duong Van Thoan, Deputy Director of Hue City’s Department of Public Security, along with representatives from the Foreign Relations Department, Ministry of Public Security, visited and worked with the Department of Public Security of Shandong Province, the People's Republic of China.

On the morning of June 7, the Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City launched the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Phu Luong Commune, Phu Vang District. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Public Relations Committee of the City Party Committee.

Under the guidance of Quoc Hoc Hue Cooperation and Public relations Club (The Mosaic), students from various places have had the opportunity to learn about the history and architecture of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. This has been a meaningful occasion for students from different schools to explore a new learning environment, while also creating opportunities for cultural connection, experience, and sharing.

Among them, the Four Sacred animals (Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Pheonix), starting from the Dragon, symbolize the strong desire of the Creation and the traditional beliefs to pray for agricultural residents' good harvests, good weather, and dispelling epidemics.
