On the afternoon of July 26, the 9th Hue City People’s Council for the 2026 - 2031 term held its second Specialized Session, electing Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, as Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term.

From July 16 to 21, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, attended the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC48) in Busan, South Korea. The People's Committee of Hue City has issued Plan No. 318/KH-UBND to implement the Action Program for carrying out the Politburo's Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture in the new era.
