Amid complex developments of Nipah virus disease in several countries, Hue City’s health sector is stepping up surveillance and implementing proactive prevention and control measures to prevent the risk of the disease entering and spreading within the community.

On the morning of November 9, communes and wards across Hue City simultaneously launched environmental cleanup campaigns in connection with the “Green Sunday” movement, aiming to restore urban landscapes and prevent disease outbreaks following prolonged flooding. City leaders visited several locations to inspect, encourage, and present gifts to participating teams.
