On the afternoon of May 15th, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Organizing Board of the Vesak Day Celebration of Buddhist Calendar 2568 held the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition themed “Fragrance of the Lotus”. This significant event is part of the series of activities for the Vesak Week of Buddhist Calendar 2568 in 2024.

The 2024 Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day kicked off on the morning of April 19th at Hue Provincial General Library with many activities.

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. A large number of visitors and people from everywhere attended Huyen Tran Temple Festival, which opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (February 18) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Hue City).

On the afternoon of January 4, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology – Hue University coordinated with CoTAI Startup Studio, and high schools in the provincial area to hold a festival of experiencing artificial intelligence called “AI Open Day 2024”.

Heading towards Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the National Archives Center No.1 (under the State Records and Archives Department) and Hue Monuments Conservation Center will jointly open an exhibition space themed "Imperial Archives of the Nguyen Dynasty - Memory of a Dynasty" on November 17, at the Exhibition Building, the National Archives Center I, at 5 Vu Pham Ham Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

On the morning of September 27, Hue City People's Committee opened an exhibition space themed "Colors on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month".

On the morning of August 18th, the Management board of Dong Ba Market organized the opening of an artistic and current affairs photography contest titled “A new day at Dong Ba market”.
