On the morning of February 23, at the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Quang Dien District, Hue Museum of Fine Arts cooperated with the People's Committee of Quang Dien District to organize an exhibition themed “Sac Xuan” (“Colors of the Spring”).

The joy of Tet (New Year) for museum workers is to welcome many visitors and guide visitors to the exhibition spaces.

That is the name of the exhibition organized by Thua Thien Hue Historical Museum to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Feb 3, 1930 – Feb 3, 2023); 55th anniversary of the 1968 Spring General Offensive and Uprising and welcome the New Year of the Cat 2023.

These are the works of Hue artists or those living, studying and working in Hue, those who have been contributing to the formation and development of Hue fine arts. The collected pieces have high artistic value and bear the unique styles of the artists.

“Lotuses are not lotuses, but they are lotuses,” concludes Prof. Dr. Trang Thanh Hien, a researcher in art, about the most recent artworks by Phan Hai Bang called “Confluence with Lotuses on Paper” on display at Le Ba Dang Art Museum (15 Le Loi St., Hue City.)

Aside from preserving thousands of Nguyen Dynasty artifacts, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities is also a space to promote the value of artifacts among the public through shows and exhibitions.

The system of automatic voice-over on relics and galleries of the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Museum, together with various souvenirs and gifts were introduced and launched on the afternoon of November 22 on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

A solo exhibition, entitled "Ngau lien tren giay" (“Lotus in spontaneity - on paper”) by artist Phan Hai Bang, was opened on the afternoon of November 18 at Le Ba Dang art space (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

The exhibition "Ancient ao dai of the Nguyen Dynasty", in a collection of Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan, was opened on the morning of November 6 in Lan Vien Co Tich space - Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery (at 120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Hue City).

There is an entrepreneur holding dual nationality, with a French father and a mother from South Vietnam. She, though not a Hue woman, has been attached to Hue and strangely crazy about Hue for more than 20 years now. That is also why she transferred most of her cultural and artistic assets to Hue, devoting a luxurious and spacious space inherently for profitable business purposes to building a non-public museum of fine arts.
