On the morning of December 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Con Dao Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to supply electric vehicles, including urban electric buses, for public transportation services in the Con Dao special administrative zone.

On December 24, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang conducted an inspection of housing construction for people under the “Quang Trung Campaign”, the allocation of resettlement land for households in landslide-prone areas, and the processing of administrative procedures in the communes, including Khe Tre, Nam Dong, and Long Quang (part of formerly Nam Dong District).

Under the agreement, Kim Long Motor will supply 1,000 KimLong-branded buses of various models for Kijsetthi Mobility, serving the market of Thailand. Riding on this success, Kim Long Motor will also set to expand its export footprint to the Middle East market and other countries in the coming time.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.

The 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) from December 2 to 5, organized through the Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. A piece of good news is that the long-term plan for this work, extending through 2030, has just been approved by Hue City People’s Committee.
