Many localities in the province are actively organizing photo contests and making video clips to promote Hue’s tourism and introduce its beautiful images of Hue culture, civilized lifestyle, environmental landscapes, and friendly Hue people who warmly welcome visitors and friends from both domestic and international destinations.

The People's Committee of Hue City has just launched a news and art photo contest with the theme "Hue - A friendly land", with the aims to propagate and promote beautiful images of culture, civilized lifestyle, landscape, environment and people of Hue, who are friendly and hospitable, to domestic and international visitors and friends.

The expansion of lotus area also means that the area of polluted water surface is gradually narrowed. The lotus does not only grow at heritage sites but also exists in landscape lakes of temples, pagodas, shrines, showing off its fragrance in the remote countryside...

On the morning of June 17th, Hue Monument Conservation Center, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports and the Inherited Calligraphy Association of Taiwan (China), inaugurated the exhibition "Than Kinh Nhi Thap Canh (Twenty gorgeous landscapes of the Land of Genies) – Emperor Thieu Tri poetry through the Inherited Calligraphy of Taiwan (China)" at Thieu Phuong Garden, within the Imperial Citadel.

In the framework of the activities celebrating 30th anniversary (1993 - 2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of the Royal Music - Vietnam Royal Court Music being recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO, on the morning of June 16, at Hien Lam Cac (Hien Lam Palace) - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held an exhibition named “Vietnam land on Nine Dynasty Urns”.

The 1st National Student Taekwondo Championship will be held right on Hue land, scheduled from March 24 to 28, by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. The championship especially has both movement and advanced systems. This is the first time the championship has been held on a national scale, and Hue is the first host province

Although Hue is a land known for its numerous national-scale libraries and archives, the work of Tang Tho Lau (or Tang Thu Lau - Archive Pavilion) - also known as Lau Tang Tho (or Tang Thu), is still considered a rare “Treasure of the Ancients” of the monarchy period that has been remarkably preserved.

The exhibition will introduce to the public 23 works by various artists, including Phan Thanh Binh, Dang Thi Thu An, Lai Thanh Dung, Dang Mau Tuu, Dang Mau Triet, etc.

From June 16th to 18th, the following activities will take place: the Vietnam’s landscape exhibition on the Nine Dynastic Urns; the exhibition of royal performance heritage and painting inspiration; the exhibition “The Capital’s 20 most striking landscapes and Poems of Emperor Thieu Tri” through traditional Taiwanese calligraphy.
