On the evening of September 9, there was good news from the Department of Tourism, informing that Thua Thien Hue's hotels and resorts were recognized at the 2023 World Travel Awards (WTA).

In the chain of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 – 2023), on September 10, the Okinawa art troupe had an exchange and performance at Hue Music Academy.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, aiming to promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan in the Central region, the HUE MATSURI 2023 event took place, with the theme "Manga Palace", within two days from September 9 to 10, in the square in front of the Quoc Tu Giam relic in Hue Imperial City.

On the evening of September 9, at the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center, an art performance program took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023).

For the first 8 months of 2023, the tourism industry has made a rapid recovery with 1.6 times as many visitors to Hue as the figure for the same period last year. In particular, international visitor arrivals were estimated to reach 672,000 - a 9-fold increase year-on-year. Total revenue from tourism activities has been estimated at 4,600 billion VND, 1.6 times as high asin the same period last year.

On August 20, 1983, Ca Hue Club (belonging to Hue Cultural House) officially came into being and was based in a small house at 47 Tran Hung Dao St. (presently Phu Xuan Bookstore.)

The world-famous classical compositions, rendered through the performance of Japan's renowned Japan Philharmonic Orchestra Quintet (JPO5) Five, left over 100 audiences experiencing a spectrum of emotions, with moments of gentle relaxation.

On the afternoon of September 6, the French Institute in Hue and the Cooperation Committee for Research in Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Education, Hue University organized a scientific conference with the theme "Happiness and Wealth".
