On the afternoon of December 12th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Edgar Doerig, Head of the Bureau régional pour l'Asie et le Pacifique - Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (BRAP-OIF) (or the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie), and Mr. Aldo de Luca, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam.

Hue Festival 2024 is due to open with the Opening program – the Ban Soc Ceremony (January 1) and end with the Countdown program, with the highlight being Hue Festival Week 2024, which will take place from June 7 - 12.

The Diamond Status is a prestigious award from the World Stroke Organization that Hue Central Hospital has been awarded for the first time in early December. This is also the highest award status of the World Stroke Organization for stroke units and stroke centers, which satisfy strict criteria for shortening time of emergency revascularization, screening for causes, and appropriate stroke prophylaxis.

Recently, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) co-hosted a conference titled: “Green Transitioning for Economic Prosperity: Future for East-West Corridor”. On December 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and related units to welcome a group of international cruise passengers on the Diamond Princess high-grade cruise to visit Hue ancient capital.

Tourism is entering the peak season for international visitors. To effectively attract visitors to Hue, the implementation of promotion and advertising work with the right focus is considered a top priority task.

The cultural heritage left by the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue, in particular, and Vietnam in general, is extremely voluminous, including historical, cultural, landscape, artistic, scientific, and economic values... Over the years, preserving and promoting those cultural values have been highly appreciated. However, there are still some inadequacies, difficulties, and limitations.
