On the morning of January 23, Hue City Red Cross Society, in coordination with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Phu Loc and Vinh Loc Communes, organized a program to distribute Lunar New Year gifts for the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026 (the Year of Horse) to poor and near-poor households, families in difficult circumstances, and those severely affected by natural disasters in 2025 in Phu Loc and Vinh Loc Communes. The program was funded by support from Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup.

On January 17th, Phu Xuan Ward Women’s Union, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Phu Xuan Ward Health Station, organized a program providing free breast cancer screening for 200 female officials, members, and women residing in Phu Xuan Ward. The activity was supported by the “Bright Tomorrow” Fund.

The disbursement rate of the City Project Management Committee for Agricultural and Rural Development Construction reached 97% of the assigned capital plan, ensuring compliance with regulations, adherence to schedules, and efficient use of funds.

On the morning of December 18th, in A Luoi 2 Commune, Hue City Center for Disease Control (CDC Hue) held the award ceremony for the Tobacco Harm Prevention (THP) Contest for students from secondary schools in A Luoi area. The program is part of the Tobacco Harm Prevention plan for the 2025 - 2026 period and is funded by the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund under the Ministry of Health.

On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism of Hue City, organized the National Conference on Net Zero Tourism in Hue. Attending the event was Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

On December 10th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held the inauguration ceremony for the Italian ODA building, constructed using concessional loans from the Government of Italian Republic along with domestic counterpart funding.

On December 3rd, Hue City Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the “For Our Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” Club, held a ceremony to present scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year to ethnic minority and island-area students in the city.

On the morning of December 2nd, the Department of Overseas Labor Management, the Center for Overseas Labor, and the Overseas Employment Support Fund (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the Department of Home Affairs, organized a training session to enhance the capacity of officials and communicators responsible for introducing, mobilizing, and advising workers (laborers) as well as their families on overseas employment under contract.

On November 25, at the National Assembly House, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo Member and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, attended a ceremony where Phu Tho Province presented funds to support localities heavily damaged by recent historic floods.

On the morning of November 24, Vietnam Women’s Union, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund and Hue City Women’s Union, organized a launching ceremony for the 2025 campaign promoting the role of families in preventing and controlling the harmful effects of tobacco, along with a training session on building “Healthy, Smoke-Free Families".
