Nguyen Thien Duc, a painter, Chairman of the Provincial Fine Arts Association, affirmed the above statement at an art exhibition on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Vietnamese fine art tradition (1951-2022) opening on the afternoon of December 9 at the University of Arts, Hue University.

A solo exhibition, entitled "Ngau lien tren giay" (“Lotus in spontaneity - on paper”) by artist Phan Hai Bang, was opened on the afternoon of November 18 at Le Ba Dang art space (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

On the late afternoon of November 18, the University of Arts, Hue University held a ceremony to celebrate 40th year anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and honor artistic prizes in 2022.

There is an entrepreneur holding dual nationality, with a French father and a mother from South Vietnam. She, though not a Hue woman, has been attached to Hue and strangely crazy about Hue for more than 20 years now. That is also why she transferred most of her cultural and artistic assets to Hue, devoting a luxurious and spacious space inherently for profitable business purposes to building a non-public museum of fine arts.

Hue Fine Arts Museum has just received a collection of precious artifacts related to traditional folk art from Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, a collector and researcher, and Mr. Nam Chi, a folk painting artist.

Not only achieving sophistication and virtuosity but ancient Japanese Satsuma pottery is also considered a masterpiece when it comes to telling the story of Buddhism through objects. There, viewers are immersed in the skillful techniques and fine arts of the artisans, as well as the culture of the land of Fusang.

Watching the exhibition “Costume of the Nguyen Dynasty” at Le Ba Dang Art Center belonging to Hue Museum of Fine Arts, the public will have an overview about the costumes for different ranks in the Nguyen dynasty. It also reveals the hierarchy and uniqueness of the fine art in the Nguyen’s era.

The Gac Trinh (Trinh Attic) Group (2012 - 2015) has just donated a painting by the late artist Dinh Cuong to Hue Museum of Fine Arts. The painting depicted his friend, the late musician Trinh Cong Son.

The exhibition named “The New Face” organized by Fine Art Association in collaboration with Union of Literature and Arts Associations and Hue College of Arts, Hue University on the occasion of Hue Festival 2022 introduced to the public artworks that showed the new life of Hue fine art.

Hundreds of sketch and poetic works about the beauty of the Ancient Capital heritage have brought visitors from one emotion to another in an exhibition, which was launched by Hue Museum of Fine Arts on the afternoon of June 23, at the Le Ba Dang Art Center (on Le Loi Street, Hue City).
