57 artworks are displayed in the art exhibition to foster Vietnam - Laos cultural exchange

HNN.VN - On the morning of November 22, the University of Arts, Hue University coordinated with Savannakhet Fine Art School (Laos) to hold an art exhibition to foster Vietnam – Laos cultural exchange with the theme “Connecting”.

The exhibition introduces 57 artworks created from various materials by 45 artists coming from 2 institutions; including 25 artworks of 14 artists from Savannakhet Fine Arts School (Laos), and other 30 art works created by 24 artists coming from the University of Arts, Hue University.

This exhibition provides an opportunity for officials and lecturers from both institutions get the chance to exchange, learn about academy in artistic creation from each other. It emphasizes the cooperation between schools in cultural and artistic sector, contributing to tightening the solidarity between the two neighboring nations of Vietnam and Laos.

This is also an opportunity for the two institutions to share their achievements in the process of artistic training and creation. From this, specific and good proposals and recommendations can be offered to improve the quality of higher education in the field of arts, helping universities in Vietnam and Laos be more proactive in attracting students, etc.

After this exhibition, related units get an eye to hold a “Connecting 2” exhibition in Laos at the earliest opportunity.
