A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.

On the evening of May 15, the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the City Young Business Association, and Soc do Joint Stock Company - socsdo.vn e-commerce platform, organized a program titled “Unlocking Revenue Growth with Zalo - AI - CRM Ecosystem”. The program attracted the participation of over 100 businesses and household enterprises in the area.

On the afternoon of April 24th, the city’s Tourism Association, together with representatives of tourism enterprises, held a reception and working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk. Leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of January 22nd, the City Business Association held a conference to review its activities in 2025, deploy tasks for 2026, and meet with member enterprises to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang attended and delivered directives at the conference.

In the closing days of the year, while many enterprises are racing to fulfill urgent orders, trade unions and employers are quietly working to care for union members and workers ahead of Tet (the Lunar New Year) - those who directly generate value in production.

Participating in large-scale trade fairs is a way for Hue enterprises to access new markets, seek partners to develop their brands, and elevate their scale of operations.

Through forestry investment support and livelihood creation for local people, based on efficient forest environment utilization, the localities, units, and relevant sectors have mobilized and promoted the roles of communities and enterprises, contributing to strategic changes in forest resource management and development.

On September 26th - 27th, the 2025 National Scientific Conference on Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (A&R) took place in Hue City, co-organized by Vietnam Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Hue City Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the Hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event brought together more than 1.000 doctors, specialists, scientists, postgraduate students from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives of healthcare enterprises.

With “key players” like Hue Textile and Garment, Scavi, Kim Long Motor, and many other enterprises, Hue is getting closer to its goal of becoming a new export hub in the Central region.

On the morning of August 29, Phu Xuan University organized the “PXUni Job Festival 2025”. The event saw the participation of nearly 20 leading enterprises in various fields, offering over 500 attractive job opportunities for students and workers.
