Experts have been training and updating library staff nationwide on key issues related to the preservation of digital resources in library operations.

On November 5, the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs coordinated with Fédération Handicap International (Humanity & Inclusion) (HI) in Vietnam held a conference to run the project “Enhancing access to information and employment opportunities for the handicapped through appropriate technology and digital applications” in the period of 2024 – 2027.

The Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2024, themed “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Accelerating Socio-Economic Development,” is expected to present solutions for digital transformation (DT) utilizing AI, contributing to the advancement of the digital society and digital economy. On July 17, within the framework of a working trip to Thua Thien Hue province, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province, led by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Department of Information and Communication of Thua Thien Hue on digital transformation and smart urban development.

Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023, with the theme “Generating Digital Data - Accelerating Regional Connectivity,” is expected to unveil strategies for a new phase of digital transformation (DT) in Thua Thien Hue. Taking place from October 23 to November 26, the online contest to learn about the Hue-S digital platform is organized by the Department of Information and Communications with the desire to contribute to improving digital skills and promoting the development of digital society and digital economy of the province.

Implementing the plan to enhance digital awareness and skills among people and the entire society in 2023, on the morning of October 23, the Department of Information and Communications organized a launching ceremony of an online contest to learn about Hue-S digital platform.

“Digital transformation, new technologies to support preservation and festivals” was the theme of the Conference on Connecting Reality and Digital in Thua Thien Hue Province. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, and Hue Center for Information and Technology (HueCIT) on October 12th. This conference was one of the practical initiatives in celebration of National Digital Transformation Day.

On the morning of December 8, at the awarding ceremony for the Make in Vietnam Awards 2022 within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Digital Technology Businesses 2022 (VFTE 2022), organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, "The smart urban services platform in Thua Thien Hue Province (Hue-S)” was honored to win the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022, making it the Top 10 Best Digital Products for Digital Society.
