On the afternoon of October 15, Hue City Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, in coordination with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, and the Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital, held a Vietnam - Japan musical exchange program featuring Tachibana Saburo, a Shakuhachi flute artist, along with other artists, club members, and students of the university.

On October 11th, Vietnam Publishers Association, in coordination with Hue City Youth Union and Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, organized a Reading Culture Festival for Youth Union members and young people, attracting 300 participants. The event was held ahead of the school's 130th anniversary and the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Publishing, Printing and Book Distribution Sector.

On the afternoon of October 10th, Hue City Youth Union, in coordination with Vietnam Publishers Association and Vietnam Digital Library Joint Stock Company, held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program on ‘Developing Reading Culture and Digital Knowledge Spaces in Hue City’. ​

On the morning of October 10, Hue City Police, in coordination with the University of Law, Hue University, and the Department of Education and Training, held the launch ceremony for the ‘Not Alone’ 2026 campaign under the message ‘Connect Without Harm’. The campaign aims to raise awareness, equip students with skills, and build a support network to protect them from online safety risks.

On the morning of October 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with ministries, sectors, localities, and relevant agencies, held a launch ceremony for the ‘Every citizen chooses at least one suitable sport to practice regularly’ movement.

On the morning of October 9th, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue City Geriatrics Association, organized a training program and an activity session for its Older Adults Club. The activities aimed to update the professional knowledge of healthcare workers while strengthening health counseling and care for the elderly in the city.

On the afternoon of October 9th, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue City Geriatrics Association, held the opening ceremony of the Third Hue Ancient Capital Geriatrics Scientific Conference 2026, themed ‘Disease Management in the Elderly: Early Prevention - Comprehensive Treatment’. The conference attracted nearly 300 delegates, including experts, scientists, doctors and healthcare professionals from hospitals, medical facilities and medical training institutions across the country.

To help individuals and teams refine their ideas and projects for the semifinal round of the 2026 Hue City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with experts and the Competition’s advisory board, held a training conference on October 7 for organizations, individuals, and teams behind the 30 ideas and projects advancing to this year’s semifinal round.

On the morning of October 2, Hue City Youth Center, in coordination with relevant units, organized a training course on ‘Applying AI in learning’ in 2026.

On the morning of October 1, Hue Department of Health, in coordination with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), held a training session on using the ‘Doctor for Every Home’ system to support the implementation of telemedicine services across the city.
