On the afternoon of May 8th, the Council for selection of collective and individual honorees of Vietnam Glory 2024 program announced the list of honored collectives and individuals in Hanoi.

The 10th National External Information Service Awards aims to honor the external information workforce, motivate and encourage collectives and individuals to actively participate in the external information and propaganda work. At the same time, through the external information works/products, it brings the image of the country, people, culture, and intelligence of Vietnam to the world as well as bringing the world to Vietnam.

From after January until now, jellyfish have begun to appear. Depending on the tide, jellyfish are often washed ashore by waves. This is also the time when many people go to the beach to try their luck by collecting jellyfish.

It had been a long time since Hue had a “reunion” of works by famous artists that attracted a large number of viewers. That exhibition is the result of an arduous 5-year collecting process since the establishment of Hue Museum of Fine Arts at the end of 2018.

Among the thousands of artifacts which Mrs. Cecile Le Pham, the owner of Cecile Le Pham Museum of Fine Arts at 53 Ham Nghi St., possesses, the collection of ancient Indochinese banknotes brings viewers an interesting perspective on the currency that used to circulate in Vietnam during the French colonial period.

On the afternoon of January 21, the exhibition by the Huong River Antique Pottery Museum, included a cultural and artistic seminar along with a calligraphy exhibition focused on the theme “Imperial City of Hue in Poetry - Emperor Thieu Tri and the Collection of Ngu De Do Hoi Verses”.

Researcher Tran Dinh Son’s well-made jade antiques on display to the public for the first time were a nice surprise to many people. According to the owner, many of them are inherited from his ancestry, and the rest has been collected for tens of years of his pursuing the passion for antiques.

Following the success of previous collections such as “Xua va nay” (Past and Present), “Nhat Nguyet” (Sun and Moon), “Em den tu nghin xua” (You Come from Ancient Times), “Vu khuc gam lua” (Silk Dance), and “Bong - Hinh” (Shadow - Image), on the evening of December 14th, Trinh Hoang Dieu - a fashion designer, will unveil a new collection of Ao dai entitled “Mau thoi gian” (Colors of Time) at the art event and fashion show “Dieu - Mau thoi gian” (Dieu - Colors of Time) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Many precious fine art works by famous artists of Hue, collected by Hue Museum of Fine Arts over the past 5 years, are being introduced to the public for the first time.

The exhibition titled “Ngoc xuat danh son” showcases a multitude of artifacts crafted from precious jade, organized by the Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelain Museum (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Hue City). It opened on the morning of November 21st, attracting a large audience of researchers, antique collectors, and the public.
