Hue City’s budget revenue is entering a phase of strong momentum, with a revenue structure becoming increasingly diversified and sustainable. Alongside traditional sources such as textiles and garments, beer production and tourism, the rapid growth of industrial sectors is opening up significant new drivers for local budget growth.

This was the directive of the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, at the conference reviewing the 2025 work results and deploying tasks for 2026 of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), held on the afternoon of January 9th. ​

The disbursement rate of the City Project Management Committee for Agricultural and Rural Development Construction reached 97% of the assigned capital plan, ensuring compliance with regulations, adherence to schedules, and efficient use of funds.

Thirteen years after Hue first hosted the National Tourism Year, the event returned to the city for the second time in 2025, opening a gateway to new opportunities. On the morning of January 7th, the City Social Insurance Agency organized a ceremony to present health insurance (HI) cards to residents in difficult circumstances in Kim Tra Ward.

On January 7, the city’s Economic Census Steering Committee, together with Phu Xuan Ward authorities, kicked off the 2026 Economic Census.

By December 2026, the city will complete land clearance, handing over 100% of clean site area for construction of the North–South high-speed railway project, in compliance with Government requirements.

On the afternoon of January 5th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party conducted inspections and on-site surveys of several key transport projects in the city, including the proposed site for projects of the bridge crossing Con Hen (Mussel Islet) and its approach roads at both ends, of Nguyen Hoang Road, and of Ring Road 3.
