On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, organized the Children’s Day program 2026 for children in difficult circumstances from ethnic minority communities.

The activity was organized by Hue Central Hospital in coordination with Da Nang Charity Group for disadvantaged pediatric patients receiving treatment at the hospital on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1st.

On February 25th, the Social Charity Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Party Agencies of Hue City, the People’s Committee of Long Quang Commune, and the Long Quang Commune Youth Union, organized a Lunar New Year “lucky money” and gift-giving program for students of Thuong Quang Primary School.

On the afternoon of January 4, the volunteer program “Radiant Spring Vibe” took place at the first-floor lobby of the Oncology Center at Hue Central Hospital, creating a warm, caring atmosphere for patients undergoing treatment in the oncology department and pediatric radiotherapy unit. The charity event was jointly organized by the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and the City Women Business Association.

As the Central region had just suffered severe floods, many young music lovers in Hue chose to organize charity concerts, donating all proceeds to support their compatriots.

On October 30, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and encouraged people at a charity kitchen located at Truong An Primary School, Thuan Hoa Ward.

On the occasion of the Great Vu Lan (Ullambana) Festival of Filial Piety, the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City recently organized activities to present loving gifts to lonely elderly people and disadvantaged children.

On September 5, Phu Loc Commune People’s Committee coordinated with Than Huu Charity Group - social rice restaurant, and Codes Vietnam to hold a gift-giving program for disadvantaged households and poor students in the area.

On January 15th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in collaboration with the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of Hue City Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Hue City Young Doctors Association, and other benefactors, organized the “Loving Spring” program at the “Children's Space” of the Pediatrics Center.

On January 9, the Association for the Promotion of Education of Phu Loc District, in collaboration with Vietkids Association - the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, organized a gift-giving ceremony for outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in Phu Loc District.
