On the morning of April 15th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the city’s National Assembly Deputies Delegation, along with a working delegation, inspected the progress of investment and construction of primary and lower secondary boarding inter-level schools (inter-level schools, for short) in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes.

On the morning of April 9, Hue Central Hospital announced the successful surgical treatment of a malignant mandibular tumor in a 14-year-old patient, marking an important advancement in the application of high-tech techniques and multidisciplinary coordination in managing complex maxillofacial conditions.

After nearly 80 years of existing as little more than a foundation, Dai Cung Mon - the main gate of the Forbidden Purple City – will be reconstructed. The project will help complete the central axis of Hue Imperial Citadel and open up a new heritage experience space for visitors.

Accelerating site clearance and deploying projects and works to ensure they stay on schedule was the requirement emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, during a field survey and inspection of several key projects and works in the city on the morning of April 2.

On the afternoon of April 2nd, at the regular March meeting, Central Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan emphasized that every policy decision must lay the foundation for long-term development. On the evening of April 1, Prime Minister and Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee Pham Minh Chinh, together with President of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, co-chaired a nationwide conference, held both in-person and online, on disaster prevention and control for 2026.

On the afternoon of March 30th, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical (HFM) to establish the first Vietnam-China Robotic Surgery Training Center in Vietnam. This is considered an important step in the strategy for developing high-tech medicine, contributing to enhancing professional capacity and international integration of Vietnam’s healthcare sector.
