As part of activities of Hue Festival 2024, on the morning of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue City), the opening ceremony of the 2nd edition of Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue took place. This festival is organized to honor the distinctive flower species of the ancient capital - the Yellow Apricot of Hue.

According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, this Lunar New Year, the Tu Phuong Vo Su Pavilion, a cultural destination of the heritage of Hue Ancient Capital, is put back into operation as a stopover for visitors from all over the world, after a period of closure.

On the evening of January 26th, 2024, the award ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City took place in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. At 20:00 on December 31, 2023, the Hue Countdown - Happy New Year 2024 program will return at the intersection of Hung Vuong Street, Hue City, promising to bring the most eye-catching and exciting performances to audience of the Ancient Capital. The most anticipated star at this event is rapper Hieuthuhai.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. Attending the opening ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
