On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

On the evening of September 27, Hue City People's Committee, in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, organized the “Vietnam - Republic of Korea Cultural Day 2025” event at the building located at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street, and the ironwood bridge on the bank of the Huong River.

On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

On September 27-28, 2025, in the area of 23 - 25 Le Loi and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street by the Ironwood Bridge on the Huong River, Hue City People’s Committee will collaborate with the Embassy of South Korea in Vietnam to organize the “Vietnam - South Korea Cultural Day 2025”.

The 36th Hue City traditional boat racing - 2025 kicked off on the morning of September 2 on the North bank of the Huong River, about 300 meters from Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion towards Da Vien Bridge. The event was held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and it also served as a competitive sport for the 10th Hue City Sports Festival - 2026.

French architectural works in Hue in general, and those located along Le Loi St., in particular, have long been familiar. They are considered the bridges across time, serving as witnesses to the changing face of Hue’s urban landscape through many historical ups and downs.

A Buddha procession spanning over one kilometer and participated by thousands of participants solemnly crossed Truong Tien Bridge, creating a sacred and respectful atmosphere during the Vesak.

On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.

If they had to choose a typical cultural event to discuss on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Hue City’s liberation, many people would choose Hue Festival.

On the morning of March 26th, People's Committee of Hue City held a technical traffic through opening ceremony for Nguyen Hoang Bridge (part of the Nguyen Hoang Road and Huong River Overpass project).
