In 2024, Thua Thien Hue General Library digitized 25,610 pages of Han-Nom documents (Sino-Vietnamese Demotic), equivalent to 584 document items. This digitization effort was focused on the two districts of Phong Dien and Quang Dien.

It flourished brilliantly in the 17th century along with copper casting and Hue porcelain mosaics on the complex of relics in Hue ancient capital. In the 21st century, painters and skillful artisans in Hue contributed to the development of the art.

Artist Dang Thi Thu An is one of the prominent faces among the promising generation of 1980s artists from Hue. With works deeply characterized by traditional culture, especially depicting women figures and áo dài, she has contributed to creating a unique impression in contemporary Vietnamese painting.

In a space adorned with traditional Tet decorations, over 40 students from various primary students in Hue city area dressing traditional ao dai are immersing themselves into cultural folk games on Tet days.
