On October 14 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Hue City People’s Committee signed an Action plan for cooperation on the development of culture, sports, and tourism through 2030. Hue City is the first locality to sign such a cooperation plan, aiming to tap into the potential and advantages of the city as a heritage city, a Festival City, and a distinctive cultural center of Vietnam.

On October 11, the 2026 National Taekwondo Dan Promotion Test was held at the sports arena at 150 Nguyen Trai Street (Phu Xuan Ward), with the participation of more than 200 coaches and practitioners from clubs across Hue City.

The 2026 Hue Unicorn Dance Festival officially opened on the morning of September 20 at the Sports Hall at 100 Pham Van Dong St. The event is part of the Autumn Festival activities under the Hue Festival 2026 program and is jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Phu Xuan Ward People’s Committee.
