In 2000, in the short piece entitled “Hue Diary,” written when he returned for the first Hue Festival, musician Trinh Cong Son wrote, “When you have a place to return, or to visit from time to time, you are very fortunate. There, you have a river, a mountain, and you can find again your old friends whose hair used to be black has now turned grey. You might suddenly meet a Hue girl on the street and ask her, ‘Is there anything new in Hue now?’ And immediately, or perhaps by chance, she will recite the two lines from a poem by Bui Giang: “Da thua xu Hue bay gio/ Van con nui Ngu ben bo song Huong” (“Yes, sir, Hue now/ Still has Ngu Mount by the Huong river…”)

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a delegation from the City People’s Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Chairman of the City People’s Committee held a memorial ceremony, laid wreaths, and offered incense at Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

With the support of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), the project to develop the value chain of native medicinal plants in the Central Truong Son region, implemented by Green Alliance Company, has brought many positive results for local people and the community.

In 2012, I first visited Chi Linh - Hai Duong and toured Con Son pagoda. Having had the opportunity to visit and worship at many pagodas across Vietnam, Con Son pagoda left a deep impression on me from the very first glance, due to its scenery, its ancient charm, and an unexplainable sense of sacred understanding. Returning in 2025, that feeling remains as intact as the first time. I respectfully share with readers some photos of this ancient pagoda, which is over 700 years old. And if you have the chance, let you visit once to admire and contemplate.

On the afternoon of July 17, Song Huong Magazine and Truc Chi Vietnam Art Co., Ltd. jointly organized a painting exhibition with the theme "Giao Cua Mua – Cam On Mua He" (Season Changing – Thank You Summer) at Song Huong Magazine Editorial Office. On May 27, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Dien District, Head of the Organizing Committee of the “Song nuoc Tam Giang” Festival (“Tam Giang Waves” Festival) 2024, said that the locality would organize paragliding performances for the first time on Tam Giang Lagoon, and local beaches to serve the locals and visitors.
