The Quoc Tu Giam heritage site is currently being dismantled as part of a large-scale conservation and restoration project with a total budget of more than 108 billion VND.

On the afternoon of April 22, at Tang Tho Pavilion heritage site (No. 344 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center officially opened the exhibition titled “The Nguyen Dynasty’s Nine Urns: Documentary Heritage Through Images and Archival Materials - A Digital Experiential Approach to Heritage Education”.

Following the proposal of Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, signed a decision to designate 18 sites across the city as city-level historical and cultural relics. Hue City People’s Committee announced the information on April 17th.

As part of an official working trip to provinces of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the morning of April 13, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, visited Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Savannakhet Province, Laos.

Accelerating site clearance and deploying projects and works to ensure they stay on schedule was the requirement emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, during a field survey and inspection of several key projects and works in the city on the morning of April 2.

Domestic visitors will be granted free admission to sites within the Complex of Hue Monuments on March 26th.
