On his working visit to Hue in late March 2023, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that the locality should coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to set up the project to build the Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in a new position in the spirit of science, modernity, and architecture in harmony with the overall Hue Monuments.

Inside the Forbidden City, Thai Binh Pavilion was once used by the king for reading books and reciting poems above the quiet surface of Ngoc Dich Lake. On the morning of March 30, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that they would charge visitors entrance fee for visiting the 3 relics: Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, An Dinh Palace and Emperor Thieu Tri's tomb.

Among the activities to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, on the morning of January 14 (23rd December, Lunar calendar), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony in Trieu To Mieu, The To Mieu in the Citadel.
