On the morning of February 25, in Loc Tien commune, Phu Loc district, the Phu Gia traditional fairy swing festival opened. After many years of being lost, the festival has now been restored for the locals and visitors to experience and enjoy the spring.

On the morning of February 17th, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Principal of Phu Loc Town Secondary School (Phu Loc District), announced that the century-old tropical almond tree in the schoolyard has been recognized by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree.

Accordingly, 3 locations organizing high altitude fireworks to welcome the Lunar New Year 2024, the Year of Dragon include Hue City, Quang Dien and Phu Vang districts.

Heavy rain throughout November 15 caused thousands of houses in key areas across the province to be seriously flooded. The flood also inundated and divided many low-lying areas in Quang Dien, Phong Dien, Phu Vang, Phu Loc districts, etc.

Another bear has just been rescued in Hai Duong Province by the Animals Asia Foundation (AAF), and brought to the Vietnam Bear Rescue Center II at Bach Ma National Park (Phu Loc District).
