Visiting Bao La Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative (Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district), I met artisans who are hard at work keeping their professions and looking for new directions through their product design improvement. Many of their fine and quality handicraft products have been present in the world market.

On the morning of June 15, the Department of Planning and Investment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phong Dien district and the Cooperation Plus Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Company (CoPLUS), a consultancy unit (belonging to the Project of Researching, Proposing, and Consulting for the implementation of the action plan to support sustainable businesses), held a program “Phuoc Tich fam trip and hackathon”.

Responding to the World Environment Day (June 5) with the theme “Solution for Plastic Waste”, the International Day of Biodiversity and the Month of Action for the Environment 2023, on the morning of June 4, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phu Loc district, Thach Son Fisheries Association (Loc Dien, Phu Loc), etc., to release 80.000 fingerlings of tiger prawns and over 14.000 rabbitfishes into the Da Dam and Da Mieu fisheries conservation areas belonging to Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon.
