On the afternoon of March 20, Hue Monuments Conservation Center welcomed H.E. Oh Youngju, new Korean Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam, and other members of the delegation to visit Hue Imperial Palace.

By introducing heritage programs and art forms outside the relic space, the artists of Hue Royal Traditional Art Theater contribute to bringing the ancient space of the Royal Palace to life.

In a house at the end of a small alley on Pham Thi Lien Street, Le Phan Quoc is diligently finishing the paintings “Gateway to Dien Tho Palace” and “Hue Features” with Vietnamese lacquer. For him, Rhus Succedanea lacquer (hence forth, R.S. lacquer) has always had a strange attraction because it brings subtle and profound characteristics to a painting that no other material does.

Among the activities to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, on the morning of January 14 (23rd December, Lunar calendar), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony in Trieu To Mieu, The To Mieu in the Citadel.
