On April 22nd, Thua Thien Hue History Museum announced that as part of the activities for National Tourism Year 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Dien Bien, the museum has brought the exhibition “Hue - Cultural heritage, Potential destination” to the public.

Related agencies is undergoing the procedures to submit a proposal for the reclassification of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village (Phong Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District) from a National Heritage Site to a Special National Heritage Site.

Heading towards Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the National Archives Center No.1 (under the State Records and Archives Department) and Hue Monuments Conservation Center will jointly open an exhibition space themed "Imperial Archives of the Nguyen Dynasty - Memory of a Dynasty" on November 17, at the Exhibition Building, the National Archives Center I, at 5 Vu Pham Ham Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

On the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of the Hue Innovation Day 2023 Forum, the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies collaborated with the Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies to organize a scientific workshop entitled “Thua Thien Hue - A distinctive cultural heritage city of Vietnam, sustainable development through green growth, and adaptation to climate change.”
