As part of the 1st Festival of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ethnic Groups in Mountainous Areas, on the morning of May 30, the Highland Culinary Festival and Traditional Cooking Contest officially launched at A Luoi 2 Commune Market.

From the evening of May 29 to May 31, 2026, the first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of mountainous ethnic groups” is being held in the communes, namely A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 3.

In the depth of Hue culture, gardens are not merely green zones, acting as supporting elements for architecture, but a constituent factor shaping the urban identity. Hue is famous for the Perfume River, Mount Ngu, the Citadel, royal tombs, pagodas, and noble residences, but Hue is also well known for its gardens. The first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Mountainous Ethnic Groups” of Hue City in 2026 is part of the “Summer Festival” program of Hue Festival 2026. It is held periodically and rotates among localities where ethnic minority communities settle and live.

“Half of the Vietnamese are in Hue” - a playful remark that has become a vivid expression of the strong appeal of tourism in the land of Huong River and Mount Ngu these days. Crowds are flocking to relic sites, pagodas, royal mausoleums, and eateries during the holidays, making the Ancient Capital more vibrant and lively.

On the afternoon of March 30th, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical (HFM) to establish the first Vietnam-China Robotic Surgery Training Center in Vietnam. This is considered an important step in the strategy for developing high-tech medicine, contributing to enhancing professional capacity and international integration of Vietnam’s healthcare sector.
